God began writing our story in April 2005.  We launched as a video venue campus of Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida.  We started meeting at the West Bloomingdale location on 301 & Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview, Florida.  God then led us to relocate to reach more people in the SouthShore area of the Greater Tampa area.  God blessed us as we inherited a church in the Gibsonton, Florida to join with and launch out as a base to reach the SouthShore area of the Greater Tampa Area.  Our multi-site video strategy continued.   Each Sunday would include live worship, live small groups, and a video message from our Bell Shoals Campus.

After two major transitions at our campus, the deaths of our Senior Pastor and Senior Worship Pastor, our entire staff began to pray about specific directions related to Bell Shoals and East Bay.  We discerned that God was leading the East Bay Campus to be launched off as a stand-alone daughter church of Bell Shoals.  So in October 2008 live preaching began, and the journey to become RiverStone Church began.

We are now known as RiverStone Church.  We are a proud daughter church plant of Bell Shoals, and we are privleged to have such a great relationship with the Bell Shoals Campus as our mother church.  For more information about Bell Shoals Baptist Church, please visit www.bellshoals.com.
